About Us
Our Story
Annandale Monument Company was started in 1972 by Vincent Kittok. Vince had worked for Delano Granite Works and decided to take his expertise and start his own business. After many successful years, Vince decided to retire and pass the business along to his grandson, Vincent Hylla. In 2009, Vincent Hylla took over after graduating from the University of St. Thomas.
In April 2015, Vince looked to expand Annandale Monument Company (AMC) into a showroom setting. Vince understood there was a need for a warm and inviting place for people to make intimate decisions about family members that had passed away.
In August 2015, Vince looked to expand his assortment of granite products to include natural stone countertops. In September 2015, AMC opened a facility to fabricate their countertop orders.
In April 2016, AMC moved its location to a bigger retail space to accommodate the growth of the countertop business, along with space to expand the memorial products. With the move, Vince decided to change the company name to include it new growing segment of the business. Annandale Monument Company is now Annandale Monument & Countertops.
